To BRUNCH we go!!!

What do you love most about brunch? Is it the fact that you get to eat out after a long week of work? Is it your excuse to hang out with friends and family? Is it about exploring new things? For me it's the whole experience and everything that comes with it. I love breakfast! I am a morning person so I always want to eat breakfast to start my day, however, I love having someone with me when I go out to eat at restaurants. I love that brunch is my chance to relax and enjoy food with friends and family after a long week. I also love trying new things and that brunch period of 10am to 2pm allows me to try breakfast and lunch foods if I'm feeling up to it. I usually always get breakfast food, in particular french toast, but sometimes I do venture out and order other things.

So far on my foodie journey I've been to a lot of brunch places in both Philadelphia and Maryland. Listed below are my top places for either the food, drinks, or both.

Creeping on someone else's plate they had mini waffles with fresh fruit that looked so amazingly good and fresh! But I was just stunned at how great my cinnamon sprinkled caramel latte was. I have to go back and try their other food selections including the delicious-sounding lunch and dinner.

I steered away from my normal french toast and got a Belgian waffle with grits but was quickly discouraged at how it looked compared to my friend’s french toast platter. However, my meal was just as great as the french toast looked. 1st picture: Belgian waffle with caramelized apples and grits with a strawberry and pineapple smoothie; 2nd picture: French toast with bananas and berries, scrambled eggs and turkey bacon
