Traveling to Mexico

Hey guys!

So I recently came back from Cancun, Mexico with my brother and sister-in-law. To be more specific, we stayed in a RIU resort in Playa Del Carmen. It was amazing to have a week off of work and other responsibilities, traveling somewhere completely new to me

I love to travel! Anywhere new is a great experience because I can always find beauty in any location. In Mexico, I had to make sure I had my camera. From what I've heard beforehand and learned about Mexico, it is all about bright colors and festive vibes. With that in mind, I assumed I'd see lots of colorful walls and buildings, cultural foods, historic temples and monuments, etc. And that's what I saw, so I was very pleased and excited to explore.

We went on a tour to visit a local Mexican city, one of Mexico's many cenotes, and the Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins (one of the seven wonders of the world!). I had lots of fun learning all about the Mexican culture and all the history. I love being able to explore how others live outside of the US; it just opens your eyes and your mind to take in new things.
