Green Eggs Cafe
While in school at Philadelphia University, I became obsessed with finding good places to eat out at. Green Eggs Cafe was the start of my journey. They were the first brunch restaurant that I went to in Philadelphia and fell in love. From there, I was on a full out adventure to find other great spots to eat at in the city.
Green Eggs Cafe has three locations in Philadelphia, all fairly small in size and equally busy. It is a restaurant that does not take reservations so people will literally stand outside for up to an hour waiting for a table. However, that wait is definitely worth it if you want some great food and drinks. But one thing to remember, it's CASH ONLY!
Personally, I've never gotten anything but their brunch selection and I've loved every bit of it. I usually go with my friends as a group of four or five and we all enjoy it. I highly recommend the different types of french toast you can choose from. They offer different toppings depending on the seasons. Also I recommend trying the different options of coffee, if you're a coffee lover, or definitely try one of the smoothies!
