Artechouse Adventure
Artechouse in D.C. was a really cool experience. It's D.C.'s first innovative art space dedicated to showcasing experimental and technology driven installations and performances. They have this really cool installation called Parallel Universe by Ouchhh that ends on March 4th. It was all about these cool movements of lines, shapes, and lights inspired by science, mathematics, and astrology.
The space is quite small but is still spacious enough to fit a lot of people. You have to walk down these flights of stairs to get to the main location. This area welcomes you to an all white room with a bar on the top floor followed by a set of stairs to take you down to a circular room filled with bean bag lounge chairs. This room was for the main space for the motion projections to display across all of the walls. Off to the sides were two doors leading to two more installations showing different kinds of ways lights were projected from a source and onto a surface.
Overall, the exhibition was really cool. I honestly just wish that there were maybe 1 or 2 more installations to show the art of the technology to give a more complete experience of what the exhibition was about. However, I do recommend that everyone gets the chance to see it for it is something different and new. Also, it's cool for pictures!
