Colorful Walled Journey
Throughout Los Angeles, there are so many colorful walls that one will pass on average streets. It was a cool experience seeing so many different walls, some with writing, some just a plain color, and some with graphics such as pictures or prints. I saw these three walls on very basic streets that had nothing else really going on in the area. The printed one was on the side of a garage leading to a lot of warehouse buildings. The last two walls were across the street from each other but the only thing on that street was a restaurant on the corner.
The great thing about colorful walls is the fact that it helps focus a picture on a specific thing. The main focus should be on your outfit but for this post it was more about the excitement of colorful walls. My outfit was a basic grey canvas that was able to be paired with any kind of background. I wanted to keep my outfit pretty simple with an athleisure focus since our day was all about walking around different areas to explore LA. So I just put together my grey and white striped trousers with a grey cropped hoodie and my go-to adidas.
The key to photographing with colorful walls is to make sure that your outfit is compatible with the colors of that wall. Your outfit should be able to stand out and speak for itself. The colors in the wall should complement your outfit and not wash you out.
