Walking around D.C. to visit museums and exhibitions requires stamina, comfort, and style. On an average day like today, most people are at work doing whatever important thing they do in the city, so it's not that many people out and about. D.C. offers so many scenic places to take pictures but I wanted to keep it simple in order to keep my unintentional patriotic stripes as the focal point.

I wanted to keep my outfit simple, yet chic. So I focused my outfit around this super cute striped shirt dress I just got from Zara. It was very unintentional to look patriotic, as I had on red, white, and blue, but these jeans were the perfect completion to this look. Because this was such a long dress, I needed something to break it up and what better to break it up than some skin. Even though it was just a slit of the knee, these cut outs of my jeans were the perfect amount of skin needed to keep the outfit chic and still composed. To complete the look I just threw on my white FILA sneakers to stay comfortable. Even though it was freezing outside, I surprisingly wasn't too cold with just my leather jacket. Because I had my favorite fur stole wrapped around my neck to keep me warm, I was content for the time I was actually outside walking.
