Bold Printed Walks

    Today was all about the beaches! Santa Monica Pier and Venice Beach to be exact. The journey started out at Santa Monica Pier where we walked along the pier and then along the beach. We took some pictures and then made our way to Venice Beach along the bike trail. On our way there we passed this cute little spot for pictures that was off to the side of the main trail.

    This outfit was one of my bolder moves throughout the trip only because of these pants, obviously. I bought these flared pants out of pure impulse. I had seen them on a fashion blogger that I follow on Instagram and thought they were cute but little did I know that they would be a little tough to style. These bright pants are high waisted and super long. I wore these pants with a dark grey cropped hoodie and my oversized denim jacket. Even though I am all legs, I still had to put these pants on with my platform white sneakers because these pants are way too long to wear with anything else.

    I got so many stares, yet so many compliments. It was as if everyone was staring at me because I looked like I came right from the 70's. However, because I still kept it very current and trendy with today's time, I got the compliments. I still have a little hesitation wearing them but the way I would switch this outfit up is with a simple graphic tee and leather jacket for another take on a casual look or a loose blouse to dress it up a bit.
